A will only takes effect once it is signed in front of two witnesses. Until then, any earlier will you have made still applies, or, if you have none, the intestacy rules decide who inherits. That is why we aim to complete the review within 1–2 working days, so you can sign as soon as possible.
Your will does not depend on us. Once signed and witnessed, it is a legal document in its own right and you keep the signed original. You can download your documents from your account at any time, and we recommend telling your executors where your original is kept so it can be found when it is needed.
